Colorado allows partial anonymity via manager-managed LLCs. Members are not disclosed, but managers are. Here is how it works and when to consider a Tier 1 state instead.

Colorado allows a manager-managed LLC structure where members are not listed on public filings. The manager's name and address are disclosed on the Articles of Organization. If you designate a third party or entity as manager, your name as member stays off public records. However, this is partial anonymity — the manager is always visible.
| Disclosure type | Colorado | Wyoming (Tier 1) |
|---|---|---|
| Member disclosure | Not required (if manager-managed) | Not required |
| Manager disclosure | Required on Articles | Not required |
| Filing fee | $50 | $100 |
| Annual cost | $10 periodic report | $60 |
| State income tax | Yes (4.4% flat) | None |
For true anonymity where neither members nor managers are disclosed, form in Wyoming ($397), New Mexico ($347 = $297 + $50 state), Delaware ($407 = $297 + $110 state), or Nevada ($722 = $297 + $425 state). If you need to operate in Colorado, you can foreign-qualify your Tier 1 LLC here.
